This product design is made of solid surface material LG Hi-Macs which is thermally deformable.

During the design process an initially two-dimensional surface recieved various cutouts, and, after a three-dimensional deformation, it became the final shape.

For the prototype construction, the two-dimensional basic shape was milled out of a plain, LG Hi-Macs panel. Afterwards, this basic shape was heated and brought into the final three-dimensional shape with the help of a press mould.
